Our thoughts on this book

I LOVE this book. One of my top favourites and I can’t recommend it enough. The world of trees is a sophisticated, living, breathing, and inter-connected community. Trees have a hard working and vast network underground.

The connected role of fungi, microorganisms, insects and birds makes up a balanced ecosystem. I learned that trees can and do communicate with each through scents and are able to warn each other of dangers?

This wonderful book is beautifully written. It is filled lots of information. It feels almost like a magical, ‘fairy-tale’ kind of book. You get a sense of the author’s deep love for nature. Truly a beautiful thing.
