Kevin White tells his life story, from growing up mixed-race on a northern Ontario reserve, to being abused and becoming a street prostitute in downtown Toronto, to later working in the highest levels of government. With lurid descriptions of various bi-sexual liaisons with the elite. The author is also a whistleblower over the corruption he witnessed while working at Indian Affairs in Ottawa. There is resentment at the end towards those that used him and then abandoned him after he became stricken with AIDS. Readers are reminded about the value of love and the importance of protecting culture for the next generations. A rare glimpse at the highs and lows of life and death.
