I think the reason why I was attracted to this book from the start was because of my love for music, and wanting to learn about the power of music. It is a fascinating neuroscience study on the powerful effects of music on the brain and on behaviour. It is filled with stories about many rare neurological conditions (many of them I didn’t even know existed!) and how music affects them. To some people, music is a curse. WILD! Great storytelling.
