I struggle to find words that do Oliver Sacks’ words justice. A Neurologist, author, swimmer, lover of humans, professor, sufferer of prosopagnosia and historian, this autobiography narrates the life of someone whose life was defined by the lives of others; his patients. Sacks covers everything from his family, his experience with Robin Williams playing him in Awakenings and the one time he got chased by a bull during a hike. A great read for anyone looking for a jolt of inspiration and lightness in their day.
