Over the years, we’ve been building an incredible team in Vietnam, and in 2024, we officially opened an office in the heart of Hanoi. This marks a major milestone — not just for Pixel Dreams, but for our ability to operate around the clock, delivering creative solutions 24 hours a day.
Leading our operations in Vietnam is Jules, AKA Heart, whose dedication and leadership have been instrumental in shaping our presence in the region.
A Vision Years in the Making
The idea of a Pixel Dreams office in Vietnam has been developing for a long time. In 2011, PD co-founders Khalid and Lannie visited the country and saw the potential. With a strong work ethic, a deep talent pool, and a natural fit with PD’s values, expanding operations in Vietnam was a natural evolution. As Lannie puts it, “Vietnam is a hotbed for creative talent.”
But beyond the talent and culture, this move gives PD — and our clients — a powerful edge: the ability to work around the clock.
Creativity Never Sleeps
With a 12-hour time difference between our Toronto HQ and our Hanoi office, Pixel Dreams is now a 24-hour operation. While our Canadian team wraps up for the day, our Vietnam team is just getting started. That means projects keep moving, ideas keep flowing, and deadlines shrink.
To make this even smoother, we’re bringing in a dedicated Project Manager whose job is to ensure seamless handoffs between time zones. No waiting for morning emails — just continuous momentum.
For our clients, this means one thing: speed. The business world moves fast, and so do we.
Built With Heart
Jules has been with PD since April 2024, working remotely until it became clear that our growing Vietnam team needed a home. And so began the Office Mission.
Finding the right space wasn’t easy. Real estate in Hanoi is competitive, and strict regulations make it difficult for businesses to set up shop. After touring countless offices (and learning the hard way that photos don’t always match reality), we found the perfect space.
Located in a prime district, our Hanoi office occupies an entire floor of its building. On moving day, there was nothing but four desks, four chairs, and WiFi. Jules had a design plan, but our CEO encouraged a gradual approach, allowing the team to anticipate each addition and appreciate the continuous improvements.

The space is still evolving, but some things were non-negotiable from day one:
✅ A rest area. Midday naps are part of Vietnamese work culture. Essential.
✅ A library. With the budget just approved, we’ll soon be stocking the shelves.
✅ A massive 2025 calendar. A place for photos, memories, and milestones.
✅ Big windows. Because sunlight matters.
One thing our team noticed immediately was the different energy. At home, work was quiet until the Canadian team came online in the evening. In the office, there’s movement, conversation, collaboration. No more waiting for replies. Just turn around and talk.
And, of course, there’s music. Because no PD office is complete without a playlist.
Looking Ahead
For Pixel Dreams, this is more than an expansion. It’s a new way of working. It’s a way to stay ahead, to create faster, and to bring even more value to our clients.
And for our Vietnam team, it’s something even bigger: a place to build, to collaborate, and to shape the future of PD in the region.
