Twice in 2025, the Pixel Dreams team turned the Festival Tower screening room into a giant arcade. Just around the corner from the office, we hooked up a next-generation console to the cinema screen and let the games begin.

Festival Tower’s screening room, stories above the iconic TIFF Bell Lightbox in downtown Toronto, features tiered seating, booming sound, and the giant screen. It’s a state of the art cinema, but the energy was pure game night. Teammates faced off in good-natured battles, cheered each other on, and argued passionately over rematches.
Compared to a day at the office, you’re seeing a different side of a colleague when they celebrate a last-second win or laugh off a spectacular loss. The playful competitiveness breaks down barriers, builds trust, creates shared memories.
