On Friday, February 27, the PD Party Planning Committee hosted their first event of 2026. 60+ members of the PD community came out to cross-pollinate, hang with old friends, and make new ones at the Heart of Winter Social.
“Good people know good people,” as the saying goes. Hosting is in our DNA at PD. From early days, we were the go-to spot for friends to gather, kick back, and have a good time on Fridays. With our newly minted Party Planning Committee (PPC), we set out to create more opportunities for friends and family of our community to gather.
February 27 marked the PPC’s first event of 2026. Friends, family, and team members came out to the Heart of Winter Social with open minds and cheerful hearts. Name tags and icebreakers helped our community mix, mingle, and cross-pollinate during a particularly ruthless Toronto winter chill. A walkaround magician added an extra touch of surprise, delight, and connection for our friends.
Thank you to our community for kicking off the first of many socials this year. We look forward to creating more experiences and opportunities for good people to meet good people.
