In celebration of J Boba’s 35th birthday, a mysterious and heartfelt gift was delivered—a custom handmade book titled 175: 5 Perspectives on 35 Years Old, written by the enigmatic Marv Mercury. What began as a personal tribute soon sparked curiosity and excitement within the PD team. Their deep-dive into Marv’s digital footprint uncovered a treasure trove of untold stories, igniting an idea: bring these tales to life through animation. While the original project was put on hold amidst the hustle of running a growing creative agency, the dream never died.

Years later, with the launch of PDVerse—Pixel Dreams’ publishing arm—the time had finally come. The old crew reunited to publish a new book as a tribute to Marv and a gift to the community. 5 + 6 Real Stories features the five original stories from the 175 manuscript, now joined by six previously unreleased gems from Mr. Mercury’s secret library. We’re proud to bring these stories into the world—quirky, thoughtful, and alive once again.
