Members of the PDT attended Marlon Durrant’s Studio: Me Bespoke Art Gallery for a new exhibition of surreal oil paintings by Haris F Sardar.

Haris is a Canadian-Pakistani visual artist whose path from actuarial science to fine art informs the precision and imagination within his work. After an 18-year career in finance, a visit to Dalí’s crypt reignited his early passion for painting, leading him to learn oil painting techniques and develop what he calls “referential surrealism.” Influenced by his life between East and West, his contemporary compositions blend architectural forms and lush florals into fantastical worlds that reflect his belief in the oneness of humanity, while celebrating beauty, culture, and the strength of femininity.
