On September 13, 2024, Pixel Dreams marked its 15th anniversary with a heartfelt celebration at our downtown Toronto HQ and nearby Grange Park.

Fifteen years ago, Pixel Dreams was an idea fueled by late nights and big ambitions. Today, we celebrate this milestone over a shared meal, meaningful reflections, and an afternoon in the sun. The day began with a company lunch of Chinese takeout — a nod to our early days in pre-gentrified Chinatown. We shared laughter and stories of past and present. A fireside chat with leadership followed, highlighting our progress and vision for the future.

Honouring the journey

Blessed with perfect September weather, the celebration continued at Grange Park. Snacks were enjoyed, outdoor games were played, and hugs & high-fives were abundant. Our newest team member even taught us a wild panoramic photo hack.

We considered a lavish celebration for PD15, but a grounded approach kept the focus on what truly matters: strong connections, shared experiences, and gratitude for the journey we’re on together.

We have thrown some truly epic parties, and there will be a time for such revelry in the future. But today, keeping the focus on our people, our work, and the path ahead feels like the most authentic way to honour where we are now.

Looking forward

In the grand scheme of things, 15 years is not that long — Pixel Dreams isn’t even legal to drive yet.

Right now, our focus is on the work in front of us, our sights set on the future — a future we intend to measure in generations of success.

Our 100th Anniversary party in 2109 will be legendary.

And you’re invited!

See you there!
