💰 Structure & Salary
- Full-time, reporting to Partner & VP of Client Success
- Hybrid, minimum of three days a week in office (Toronto), with a willingness to travel globally
- Starting salary range between $100-130K, depending on capability and competency

📣 About the Role
In this role, you’ll be accountable for the success, growth, and delight of key strategic relationships. You act as the primary business partner for your accounts, strategically guiding them, aligning internal teams, and ensuring the work delivered drives measurable results. This role requires equal parts strategic thinking, operational precision, and high EQ.

💼 Duties
- Be the principal conductor of your projects, coordinating people, resources, and timelines, while maintaining full visibility across all moving parts.
- Proactively build and nurture strong client relationships, acting as a strategic partner rather than a service provider
- Translate client objectives into clear briefs, scopes, and success metrics, while leading internal teams to deliver exceptional work
- Own the P&L for your accounts: manage budgets, forecast revenue, identify growth opportunities and ensure agency profitability
- Work with cross-functional teams (strategy, creative, media, digital, production) to deliver integrated campaigns and exceptional client experiences
- Present work to clients: from initial concept walkthroughs through campaign reporting and business reviews
- Monitor performance and leverage data/insights to optimize effectiveness and recommend next steps
- Embody the role of trusted advisor, connecting the dots between today’s client challenges with next year’s industry shifts, and setting the path for growth
- Lead strategic planning and set direction for the account portfolio
- Mentor and develop account managers and coordinators: set goals, provide feedback, foster professional growth and ensure high-performing teams
- Act as a change agent within the agency: identify process improvements, advocate for innovation and help enhance how we deliver value to clients
- Communicate updates, wins, and insights with clarity and confidence
- Manage difficult conversations with diplomacy and empathy while upholding team integrity and client trust
- Visit client offices, ensuring we’re walking the halls

📋 Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in account management, client services, or strategic partnerships within creative, marketing, or agency environments.
- B2B experience is a bonus, not a requirement
- Excellent strategic thinking: ability to understand a client’s business, industry, goals, and translate those into creative solutions
- Strong leadership and team-management skills: comfortable guiding, coaching and mentoring others, while also getting into the tactical details when needed
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, confident presenting to senior stakeholders (client side and internal), inspiring trust and credibility
- Excellent organizational skills: capable of managing multiple clients/projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Skilled in creating welcoming experiences with exceptional hosting abilities and polished etiquette
- Creative fluency: while you’re not the creative lead, you are conversant with creative processes, brand storytelling, digital channels, and providing support and guidance to creative work
- Analytical and data-savvy: able to draw insights from performance metrics and make recommendations that drive impact
- Proficiency with Google Apps like Docs and Sheets
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Advertising or related field (or equivalent experience)
