100 libraries.
100 books.
100 million.
1 big castle.

This is our Centennial Vision — the long arc guiding our work. Building libraries that raise Intelligence + Awareness. Writing books that share ideas worth spreading. Reaching 100 million people with those ideas. And eventually, one day, building a physical home for those ideas: a castle dedicated to learning, creativity, and community.

We started 2025 with the theme: Fail Fantastically.
Failing fantastically was a reminder that a) failure is inevitable along the way to success, and b) you might as well make it fantastic. Dare to do bigger, better, drive more value, help more people, set higher targets, and enthusiastically attempt to achieve them.

Summary

We lost a few battles. We won many more.

For a small business with more extra-curricular activities than our advisors would like us to have, we’ve done alright. We punched above our weight class. We secured new enterprise clients. We gave generously to raising intelligence and awareness – our company’s purpose. And somehow, we found the time for a few parties.

Feel free to peruse, skim, and dive deeper into what interests you.

To the reader: Our yearly Accountability Reports are written for you.
Our clients, teammates, family, friends, and community. As a purpose-driven organization, we believe it is our duty to report openly on how we invest our time, energy, and resources.

PD’s Second Children’s Library

In mid-2025, we committed to opening our second children’s library — and by autumn, we had fully funded it. In early January 2026, a small team from Pixel Dreams made the long journey from Toronto to Hanoi to Quảng Trị, Vietnam for the groundbreaking ceremony. The occasion marked a tangible step forward in our purpose to Raise Intelligence + Awareness (I+A), and another step in our journey toward establishing 100 libraries around the world.

Evolving Our Identity

We evolved our wordmark and overall logo composition — a subtle but intentional shift to express a more focused, confident, and forward-thinking company. We also expanded our colour palette and refined our voice and tone, clarifying how we speak so our visual identity and verbal identity move in lockstep.

Field Manual 2025

At the same time, we released Field Manual 6.0, sharpening the articulation of our principles, standards, and operating philosophy so our external identity and internal discipline evolve in lockstep. Together, these updates ensure that how we look and how we operate tell the same story — ambitious in vision, meticulous in execution.

Hanoi Office Updates

In late 2024, we opened our first international office in Hanoi, Vietnam — a defining step in our evolution from a Toronto-rooted agency to a globally integrated team. By mid-2025, once the team had found its rhythm, we upgraded the Hanoi studio to full PD standards (June) — in design, functionality, and feel — ensuring our culture, expectations, and creative environment are consistent across continents.

Internal Updates

AI at PD

In early 2025, we encouraged the team to “play, play, play” with AI — building literacy through curiosity and experimentation. By September, we conducted an internal audit and shared a report on how AI was truly being used, while also sunsetting our weekly WedAI videos as usage matured. What began as exploration is now a disciplined, everyday practice embedded in how we research, write, ideate, and think strategically.

Summer Summit

Summer Summit 2025 was our biggest gathering yet — hosted at Taboo Resort in Muskoka and bringing together teammates from across Canada and internationally. It was an immersive few days of alignment, celebration, and deep relationship building as we scale globally.

Winter Summit

Winter Summit 2025 was a shorter, more intimate gathering held in Toronto at the start of the year. It focused on connection, clarity, and setting the tone for disciplined execution in the months ahead.

Hosted Triposphere Artshow in Hanoi

Triposphere: Dreams and Dreamers in Hanoi 2025 brought together artists and visionaries for an evening celebrating imagination, expression, and creative courage.

The show reflects our commitment to raising Intelligence + Awareness by supporting spaces where bold ideas and bold dreams can be shared publicly.

Evenings at Md Art Gallery

Over the year, we attended three art shows at Marlon Durrant’s studio, Md Art Gallery. Each visit was an opportunity to immerse ourselves in bold, contemporary work and engage directly with artists and collectors shaping the creative scene. Supporting spaces like Md reinforces our belief that great commercial creativity is nourished by active participation in the broader arts community.

Culture Review

Each year in June, we ask PDTers about our culture: what’s working, what needs evolving, and what lights PDTers up. This report aims to:

  • Shine a light on the traits that make PD unmistakably PD.
  • Explore how we can protect and evolve what’s working, so our culture stays healthy as we scale

Events + Celebrations

Summer Getaway

PD’s Northern Escape was a refreshing retreat that brought the team together outside the office to recharge and reconnect. Surrounded by nature, it was a reminder that a strong culture is built not only through work, but through shared experiences and time well spent together.

Conclusion

You made it this far!
Failing fantastically is not about celebrating failure — it’s about committing fully to work that matters, knowing that progress is built through both wins and setbacks.

In 2025, we moved forward on all fronts: strengthening our business, investing in our people, expanding our reach, and doubling down on our purpose to raise Intelligence + Awareness. From libraries in Vietnam to ideas shared across teams and communities, each effort — big or small — contributes to a longer arc.

100 libraries.
100 books.
100 million.

This is the path we are on. Thank you for walking it with us.
